Hola a todos los adictos (y también a los no tanto) a la pcm
hace poquito me llegó mi nueva Sage Vantage 386-4 y quería saber cómo funciona la garantía acá en chile y si el flyshop de manquehue es responsable por ella.

Tambien me plantee esa duda hace un tiempo con mi caña Sage, esta no fue comprada en la tienda asi que consulte y me dijieron que no eran responsables de esa caña, pero si pueden enviarla previo pago de 100 dolares (para el retorno de la caña) la garantia es por la caña asi que se deben enviar todos los tramos para su reparacion o fabricación del nuevo tramo (no te la reemplazan por una caña actual en caso de estar descontinuada, sino que te fabrican el tramo). El envio y retorno eso si durara mas de lo habitual (aprox. 120 dias) Pero debes ser cliente de la tienda. Si no te dieran apoyo ellos te orientan para enviarla directamente al proveedor.

Yo compré en ebay una caña sage de dos manos y la quebré en una tarde de desenfreno y torpeza tratando de agarrar los chinook que saltaban frente de mí.

Si bien Flyshop me daba la alternativa de enviar ellos el producto a USA, por el pago de 100usd (como señala Peje)
Me recomendaron hacerlo directamente si lo quería rápido, pues a través de ellos tardaría mas menos lo 120 días (como bien dice Peje, jajaja)
Ahora, con mi producto no había problema, yo pregunté por la garantía antes de comprar y ellos casi no traen cañas de dos manos a Chile, entonces pregunte directamente: "Ya que ud no tienen y no la van a traeeeer..., Si yo la traigo......, me apoyan con la garantía". Y la respuesta fue Yes.
Y destaco la buena la onda de la tienda FlyShop, nada de mala onda.

Lucas, Yo pagué 12 lukas por enviar 12 cm del tramo roto (Correos de Chile, 16 dias), la sección de la "ferrula" y datos de visa, dirección de retorno, numero de serie de caña.
Me cargaron 65 dolares por el flete de retorno, fedex (5 dias).
Tardó 24 dias en volver mi tramo nuevo a casa y un costo total ligeramente inferior a 100 USD.

Busca y lee la sección Sage Repair, de la pagina Sage.

Pienso que lo mas rapido es hacerlo como señala Castor... y para eso en la pagina esta muy bien indicado ( Busca y lee la sección Sage Repair, de la pagina Sage, como tambien dice Castor Jaja)

Ahora me sumo a tu post, ese papelito creo haberlo perdido hace unos 3 años.

¿Castor es necesario adjuntar esa carta de garantia que viene con la caña nueva?

por mi parte ya no existe, pero nunca he mantenido una hoja de garantia de mis cañas y cobre garantia de redington 10 años despues solo pagando el valor por envio y retorno de pieza quebrada.

No me pidieron la tarjeta de garantía solo el numero de serie de la caña.
En sage repair hay un formulario donde especifica lo que se necesita, información y el tamaño del trozo de la sección rota, nada mas.

Please send 4 - 6 inches from the top down of the male ferrule AND the section of the rod or
blank with the Sage Logo. You may break off the handle above the cork and send the printed
part of the rod or blank showing the model number and serial number. We must have the male
ferrule and the Sage Logo to replace the butt section.
Please indicate which section(s) are broken so that we may identify the ferrule.

Gracias tambien Castor, con eso aclare algo que hace un par de años cuando busque este papelito y no encontre dije plop, perdi la garantia (%&$$$#&&/).
